Counted without cookies or IP addresses. Each page load adds one to a daily tally of page, day and rough source, and that tally is all that's kept. Nobody is followed from page to page.
The charts need a little JavaScript. The raw figures are public too: stats as JSON.

Where visitors came from
Only the website a visitor came from is looked at, sorted into these groups. "Direct" includes links from apps and mail, and browsers that hide where they came from.
Pages
How it's counted
Each page sends one small request when it opens: the page's name and the name of the website you came from, nothing more. There are no cookies, nothing is stored in your browser, and your IP address is used for a minute only to stop floods and never saved. Visitors who block scripts aren't counted. The update count includes confirmed addresses only. Details in the privacy policy; raw figures: stats as JSON.
